The ecosystem should be thought about from the very beginning of any new venture. We can discern the essential components of an innovation ecosystem in a way that, practically, you can see your strengths as well as the gaps you need to fill.
I find it helpful to break down the components of an ecosystem into four key areas: Knowledge, Funding, Networks and Talent.
